DIY: Embossed Foam

I am a follower of several art blogs, one being Julie Fei-Fan Balzer

In one post, she did a tutorial on how to emboss foam.  It looked so creative and fun, I thought I would give it a try. Click here to go to her tutorial and examples she made.  My favorite is the creation of layered foam:

Insert DRYING TIME.

Sanded....and Result:

 

 

 

I think my favorite is the stars. The words didn't turn out the greatest but I still found happy moments in each piece. I will probably use them as embellishments or cards for my Project Life.

 

Now if I could only find my textured plates with the bowties and a comb design. :(  My guess is it ran away with the missing bamboo brush into stencil heaven.  So if you were a textured plate, where would you be? And for that matter, a bamboo brush as well?
