After a bit of inspiration hitting me, being tired of the tape coming off, and the desire to lighten up my Bible covers, I conquered the challenge.
You can see the bible above being black with various tape all over. So with a little help from my friend gesso...I completely changed the look.
I started with the back cover...using Jodi Ohl "Tandem Techniques" video, the feathers came to life.
I left the tape and Amen stickers on. And simply painted over them for texture.
On the front, I w anted to add in a Danielle Donaldson inspired tutu girl.
Again leaving the stickers and tape for texture but again loving the end result.
And my Dear God has certainly opened my heart. Amen.
