THIS IS 40!: February 26, 2017

Celebrating my 40th Birthday & Babymoon with my love at Hilton Head Island, SC!

Such a relaxing and enjoyable time together!!

First night, (2-24-2017) we stayed at the Holiday Express...we both didn't get there til later, so just dined in the room and relaxed.  Plus my feet looked like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

Saturday 2-25-17, we got an early check-in at the Sonesta Resort.

SO AMAZING!! (Thanks mom and dad!!)

We had lunch at the restaurant & walked the grounds for a while.

yummm...fish tacos.

 

The weather was amazing! 80 degrees.

However, the water was freezing cold.

Some artistry left on the beach :)

Ahh...look at the baby turtle...

Virgin Pina Colada....compliments for being pregnant with twins.

Dinner was ordered in from an awesome burger joint.

Sunday, 2-26-2017...

It's my Birthday!!!

Room Service....and treat from my parents!

Then lunch at DQ and the movie "Get Out" before dinner at Crazy Crab in Harbour Town.

Despite the sun, the weather was a bit chilly.

She Crab soup and Crab Cakes for me; Crab Legs and Flounder for Tony.

The last day 2-27-2017, I ventured out to the beach before heading home.

Tony had to leave early that morning to get back.

 

 

 

WE ARE HAVING TWINS!

August 7-9, 2016

Tony had some training for his job so we decided to make it a quick getaway too. And the sweet man had a bouquet of flowers waiting for me. 

Love him so.. for his sweet gestures thanking me for going through all I have been through the past few months.  It was much appreciated. 

 

We grabbed some food from TGIFriday's (if you call an hour wait "grabbing food")...and that was an entire too long of a wait to get the food plus it was cold & my chicken + shrimp pasta was actually without shrimp...hence the next night was on them.

The following day I ventured out to the local park, Shorty Howell Park, to get in some exercise.

Along the nice paved walk/run way was a lake with a plethora of ducks and geese.

 

I tried my first Bubble/Boba Tea with macaroons for lunch(not a fan at all, but staff was very nice and helpful with my first selection.) Shopped a little (p.s. Don't go to the Duluth mall...there is nothing there.) Then went back to the hotel...whom hadn't cleaned our room yet, so I headed to the pool for some rays.

And then that night, we tried to figure out my new selfie stick (it was a freebie from Sprint).

 

The following day I headed home stopping at a few outlet malls and grabbing some deals, but all-in-all it was a relaxing time away.

 

WHAT A DAY!: July 4, 2016

Celebrating the 4th in Anderson, SC!! 

(where you can actually light all types of fireworks)

I travelled down to Anderson after work, so got there a little after dinner.  So we went out and lit a few fireworks.

(this was probably the moment that Tony got a spark in his eye...that was a total panic moment for us, but luckily he is ok after washing it out)

Then we watched a few of the neighbors light off fireworks and tried for a selfie, but the flash blinded us.  Still a fun captured moment.

The next day was sleeping in, movie, cooking out, and more fireworks.

The Total Circus firework was the best on.  Small but mighty!

I just love celebrating these moments with Tony!!
