PINTEREST PROJECT: Embroidery Girls

I found this image on Pinterest and wanted to create an embroidery in a wooden loom using an old feed sack for material.

I printed out the picture and placed it on the feed bag. (I initially tried using tracing paper but it wasn't transferring onto the fabric well. ). So I went ahead and just sewed right over the paper.

Once most of the outline was completed I pulled/ripped the paper out. And then added more details and colors.

The girls are adorable.

Next I added a quote about friendships. (Also found on Pinterest with unknown author)
"Side by side or miles apart, dear friends are always close to the heart."
It means a lot as many of my close friends live afar.

Then trimmed the edges. And it is complete once I hang it on the wall.
LOVE IT!
