And here is my final project from Junelle Jacobsen's class.
ENJOY!!
The book was titled "Small Miracles"
Using leftover page to create some 3D bunny ears and flower pot.
Used simple frame designs to highlight the pages words and add some fun elements.
Capturing a soon-to-be memory this summer.
used a technique I learned from Diane Culhane's summer camp class to complete a funky image of spring characters and figures from random collage of doodles and paint colors.
I grabbed my "20 Ways To Draw a Cat" book and started sketching away grids, and larger figures for a majority of the pages. And also from my personal sketchbook.
I thought it was so neat how those words from the book ended up inside the frame.
Probably my favorite pages. Love the colors.
My heart be still. Took inspiration from Kelly Barton. Her work is so FUN!
Several statements I used were found in Native American sayings or prayers.
That's the word turtle in Japanese. Shout out to my brother (How did I do?)
And the lil mouse is just too cute. I used some Daniel Smith irredescents watercolors on the door. They are just gorgeous.
Now off to my next art adventure...
